The area surrounding Jackson Hill Park and Marina is filled with beautiful forests that are just waiting to be explored. Use our Sam Rayburn Lake RV park as your base camp while you plan day trips to the Angelina National Forest and Sabine National Forest. At the Upland Island and Turkey Hill Wilderness Area you can enjoy fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and hiking. The area around Jackson Hill is perfect for water skiing and recreational boating. |
| Spend some time exploring the nearby towns of Jasper, San Augustine, and Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas. You'll find plenty of historic attractions, from the Stone Fort Museum to the living history center of Millard's Crossing Historic Village. You can go antique hunting, gift shopping, or looking for a fabulous restaurant for lunch or dinner.
